Dani Olmo: 'We are ready to make history in Milan'
The young talent of FC Barcelona expresses optimism ahead of the Champions semifinal against Inter, highlighting the importance of this match for the club.

FC Barcelona is gearing up for a crucial showdown in the Champions League semifinal against Inter Milan, a match that promises to be a milestone in the club's recent history. Dani Olmo, one of the emerging figures of the team, has shared his enthusiasm and determination ahead of this highly anticipated clash.

"It has been six years since Barça played a semifinal, and we could be in a final 10 years later. We are very excited and we are ready," Olmo stated, who will experience his second Champions semifinal after his time with Leipzig in 2020. The pressure is on, but the young Barça player is confident in the team's potential to overcome this challenge.

The task will not be easy, as Inter has not lost any of its last 15 home matches in the Champions League. However, Olmo remains optimistic: "We have played in tough stadiums like the Metropolitano, the Bernabéu, or the Signal Iduna Park and we have achieved victory or advancement. It is not something that worries us; it motivates us." This mindset is crucial for a team looking to reclaim its status in Europe.

A defined style of play

Regarding the last match at Montjuïc, the player acknowledged that there are aspects that can be improved. "It was a fairly even match. We had situations to score and also to defend better. These things can happen," he explained. Nevertheless, the young midfielder feels confident in the team's style of play: "We know what we are playing for, it is going well for us, and we have no reason to change anything."

Olmo also reflected on his first season with the first team, where he has had to adapt quickly to the high demands of the club. "I came with a goal, which was to win, and so far we have two out of four. I have experienced tough situations, but now I am at 100%. It has definitely been worth it," the player concluded, making it clear that his commitment to Barça is absolute.

This Tuesday, Camp Nou will be watching closely how this exciting encounter unfolds in Milan, where Barcelona will seek to take another step towards European glory.
