FC Barcelona Shines in Nations League and Other International Commitments
Even though the domestic season has ended, Barça players continue to be active with their national teams in the Nations League and other tournaments.

The FC Barcelona remains a key player in the international football scene, even after the domestic season has concluded. From June 4 to 8, the national teams of France, Germany, Portugal, and Spain will clash in the final phase of the Nations League, where the azulgranas will have a significant presence.

As many as seven players from Barça have been called up to represent their countries in this prestigious tournament. Among them, Marc-André ter Stegen will guard the goal for Germany, while Cubarsí, Pedri, Gavi, Fermín, Lamine, and Olmo will join the Spanish national team, aiming to defend their title in the competition.

World Cup 2026 Qualifiers

In addition to the Nations League, international commitments include qualifying matches for the 2026 World Cup. Although there is still a year to go until the grand event, excitement is already in the air. This time, Frenkie de Jong has been called up by the Netherlands to face Finland and Malta, and more Barça players are expected to join the list in future call-ups.

U-21 Team in Search of European Glory

The U-21 national team will also feature three young talents from FC Barcelona. Gerard Martín, Pablo Torre, and Fermín López have been selected by Santi Denia to compete in the European Championship taking place in Slovakia from June 11 to 28. These young culers will aim to make their mark in the tournament and contribute to the success of the national team.

A Friendly Match to Celebrate Catalan History

As if that weren't enough, this Wednesday the Johan Cruyff Stadium will host a friendly match between the Catalan national team and Costa Rica, commemorating the 125th anniversary of the Catalan Football Federation. In this match, Eric Garcia, Gerard Martín, and Pau Víctor will represent Barça, adding even more reasons for pride for the culé fans.

With so many international commitments on the horizon, FC Barcelona fans can be assured that their team continues to be a reference point in world football. ¡Força Barça!
