Lewandowski: 'Barcelona will be even better next season'
The Polish striker, after a dream season, reaffirms his commitment to FC Barcelona and dreams of more titles.

At 36 years old, Robert Lewandowski has shown that age is just a number. In his third season with FC Barcelona, the Polish forward has become the team's top scorer, netting 42 goals in 52 matches and contributing to the conquest of three titles: La Liga, Copa, and Supercopa.

Fresh from a well-deserved vacation, Lewandowski has taken some time to reflect on his journey and the club's future. In an exclusive interview, the striker expressed optimism about the upcoming season, stating that "I will definitely stay next season. Right now, I only have Barcelona on my mind".

The Polish player, who will turn 37 in August, made it clear that his intention is to continue performing at the highest level. "My biological age is 30 years. I think that's not bad. It corresponds to how I feel", he commented, dismissing any rumors about a potential departure from the club.

"The lesson from Milan will serve us for the future; I already saw things against Espanyol that we didn't do against Inter"

Lewandowski also reflected on last season, where the team fell just short of reaching the Champions League final. "The Champions is a goal for every player, always a goal to win. If we have luck and no injuries in important matches, we can talk about whether we have a chance to win or not", he stated, hinting at his ambition to conquer the European tournament.

The striker expressed satisfaction with the team's performance, highlighting that "we played very well, at a very high level". However, he also acknowledged that the youth of the squad can be a factor to consider in critical moments. "It's normal that you can't expect young players to know exactly what we could do in difficult situations", he explained.

"Out of the four Clásicos, I stick with the one at the Bernabéu; it's always special to win away and even more so by 0-4"

Regarding his memories of the season, Lewandowski did not hesitate to point to the Clásico at the Bernabéu as one of the standout moments, where Barça triumphed with a resounding 0-4. "It's always special to win away, especially in that manner", he expressed with a smile.

With a contract that binds him to the club for another year, the striker feels in top shape and ready to face new challenges. "I am preparing for a very good season. I know many people are looking at me because of my age, but what matters are the performances on the field", concluded Lewandowski, making it clear that his commitment to Barça remains strong.

The future of FC Barcelona looks promising, and with Lewandowski at the helm, fans can dream of more successes in the upcoming campaign.
