Pau Cubarsí, the young Barça talent, prepares for the UEFA Nations League Final Four
The 18-year-old center-back balances his rise at FC Barcelona with his studies while concentrating with the Spanish national team.

Pau Cubarsí, the promising center-back of FC Barcelona, is at a crucial moment in his career. At just 18 years old, the Estanyol-born player has been called up for the UEFA Nations League Final Four, taking place in Germany from June 4 to 8. However, his preparation goes beyond football, as he is also about to face an important academic challenge.

The young defender will not travel alone to the Spanish national team camp; he is bringing along his second-year high school notes. Cubarsí has proven to be an example of dedication, managing to balance his meteoric rise in Barça's first team with his studies. His next big challenge will be the university entrance exams (PAAU), scheduled for June 11 to 13, just two days after returning from Germany.

Despite a demanding sports calendar, Cubarsí has successfully passed his second-year high school, facing final exams during one of the most challenging weeks of the year. This included crucial matches against Inter Milan and the Clásico against Real Madrid, all while dealing with a stomach virus that affected him during those critical days.

Before joining the national team, the young player has dedicated time to his studies, and during the camp at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas and later in Germany, he will take advantage of every free moment to review. His academic effort is commendable, and the final push will come when he returns home, where he will have two days to prepare before the exams.

Once the entrance exams are over, Cubarsí will take a well-deserved break. He will not participate in the U21 European Championship this summer, allowing him to enjoy a family vacation, with a trip planned to Italy. Sometimes, even for a precocious talent like him, the most important thing is to disconnect and enjoy life outside of football.

The future looks bright for Pau Cubarsí, who has not only earned a place in the hearts of Barça fans but also serves as an example of how to balance sports and education. Undoubtedly, his journey will be closely followed by all football lovers.
