The English full-back was welcomed at Valdebebas by Butragueño and expressed his excitement about joining the white club, while downplaying Bellingham's influence on his decision.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, the new reinforcement for Real Madrid, was officially presented in the press room at Valdebebas, where he expressed his enthusiasm for being part of one of the biggest clubs in the world. The English player, who arrives free from Liverpool, was welcomed by Emilio Butragueño, who did not hold back in praising the footballer: "We are very proud that a player of your caliber wears the Real Madrid shirt. We are sure you will bring us many joys".

Alexander-Arnold, visibly excited, stated: "This is a day I have been waiting for a long time. It is a dream to be here, there is a lot of work ahead and I am eager to start". Despite his short wait to join the club, the full-back made it clear that he has always admired the greatness of Madrid and its history of success in the Champions League.

The Englishman, who becomes the seventh English player in the club's history, also spoke about his relationship with Bellingham, stating that although they have talked, the midfielder's influence on his decision to sign was not as decisive as many might think: "Madrid needs no introduction". However, he could not help but mention the admiration he feels for his new teammate.

Regarding his new coach, Xabi Alonso, Alexander-Arnold expressed his respect and admiration, noting that working with him is a dream come true. "He did impossible things and has influenced the way I work and train hard", commented the full-back, who was eager to adapt to the demands of the new coaching staff.

The player also referred to his departure from Liverpool, where he left an indelible mark. "Everything achieved with Liverpool has been incredible, it will never be forgotten. But I left in a good way, I am happy with how I did it", he stated, making it clear that his time at the English club will always be remembered fondly.

Finally, Alexander-Arnold was optimistic about his future at Real Madrid, where he hopes to contribute to the pursuit of new titles, starting with the Club World Cup to be held in the United States. "The club has a winning mentality and I am here to be part of that story", concluded the player, making it clear that his ambition is as great as that of the club itself.
