Carvajal Approaches Return in Crucial Clash Against Juventus
Real Madrid's right-back, Dani Carvajal, has expressed his desire to be part of the squad for the decisive match against Juventus in the Club World Cup.

Dani Carvajal is on the verge of returning to action after a lengthy recovery of nearly nine months due to a triple tear in his right knee. Ahead of the important match against Juventus of Turin, the defender has expressed his excitement about rejoining the team, stating that he has been training at the same pace as his teammates during the Real Madrid camp.

"I am eager to be part of the team. I have been training fully for several sessions. Let's see if I can be in the squad tomorrow and available for whatever the coach deems appropriate," Carvajal stated at a press conference. His return would be a relief for a team that has faced several challenges in the tournament.

The match against Juventus, set to take place in Miami, is crucial for Madrid, who are looking to advance in the knockout stage of the Club World Cup. Carvajal, who will become the team's first captain after Luka Modric leaves, emphasized the importance of this match: "The team is already focused on Juventus, and hopefully, we can make it to the quarter-finals."

The full-back also shared his experience during recovery, highlighting the importance of maintaining a positive mindset. "I woke up every day with a lot of energy, grateful to do gym work or use crutches. I faced it with happiness, which is the foundation of this process," he commented.

Despite his eagerness to return, Carvajal is aware that the competitive rhythm may pose a challenge. "I've been training with the team for two weeks, and you can feel that spark, but I'm not afraid to put my foot in; that's all behind me," he confidently stated.

Madrid has had a tough path in the tournament, facing teams like Al Hilal and Pachuca, but Carvajal believes the team has been gaining confidence. "Juventus is a stronger opponent, and we are looking forward to it," concluded the defender, making it clear that the team is ready to give their best in this crucial match.
